Shopify guide

Add a QR to Shopify pages, parcels and shop-floor signs.

Use the storefront page customers should reach, download clean QR artwork, and keep each physical placement tied to one clear action.

Shopify QR code workflow from public link to artwork and final scan test
Shopify workflow: prepare the public link, export sharp QR artwork, then scan the finished design.

The reliable route

Four steps from link to finished artwork.

  1. 1

    Choose the exact storefront page

Link to the product, care guide, returns page or offer itself. Avoid sending every placement to the home page.

  2. 2

    Create one QR per job

Separate packaging instructions, in-store reviews and repeat-purchase offers so each can be measured and changed independently.

  3. 3

    Upload a sharp file

Use SVG for print artwork and a large PNG where Shopify expects a raster image. Shopify advises using high-quality source images.

  4. 4

    Check the customer view

Scan the printed proof on mobile data. Confirm the page is published, fast and free of staff-only or preview links.

Final check

Do not approve the job until these pass.

  • The storefront page is published
  • The QR has one labelled purpose
  • The order-insert proof scans

Working example

Scan it, then inspect the address.

This sample is deliberately plain. Reliable contrast and a clear border matter more than decoration.

Fixed QR

Good when the link is settled

A fixed QR suits permanent care instructions or an evergreen public policy page.
