The plain-English service terms for using HonestQR static downloads, dynamic redirects, billing, exports, and account controls.
1. Service scope
HonestQR provides static QR downloads and dynamic QR redirect management for supported QR types, including URLs, hosted files, vCards, social links, WiFi, app links, and landing pages.
Customers are responsible for the destinations, files, logos, copy, and campaign materials they upload or link to.
2. Billing and cancellation
Before checkout, we show the price, renewal schedule, how to cancel, how to ask for a refund, and what happens to your QR codes. Subscriptions renew until cancelled.
Cancel anytime — your codes keep working. We never switch off your QR codes because you stopped paying.
3. Wind-down and 12-month notice
If we ever discontinue the service, we guarantee a minimum of 12 months' notice. All redirects stay live throughout that period, and we'll provide free tools to export or re-point your codes.
Wind-down mode freezes editing and new subscriptions while keeping redirects, account exports, and static fallback files available.
4. Abuse and legal suspension
Abuse/legal suspension is separate from billing cancellation. Unsafe, unlawful, malicious, or rights-infringing destinations can be blocked or suspended, even if the customer is paid up.
Unpaid but safe codes keep redirecting to their last safe destination; only safety, abuse, legal, or explicit owner destruction can stop a redirect.
5. Liability cap
Subject to legal review and non-excludable rights, HonestQR's aggregate liability is capped at 12 months' fees paid for the affected service.
This clause should be read with the non-excludable rights that apply in the customer's jurisdiction.
