We checked each provider's own pricing page or terms, recorded the recurring charge and kept annual equivalents separate from true monthly billing.

What the headline misses
Four checks before putting a QR into print.

Billing cadence
“Per month” can mean a monthly payment, an annual charge shown as a monthly equivalent, or a payment every four weeks.

QR allowance
Some plans cap saved codes, while others cap how many new codes can be created each month. Those are different limits.

Analytics allowance
Unlimited scanning does not always mean unlimited analytics history. Check how many scans are measured and how long data remains visible.

Redirect continuity
If the public page does not say what happens after cancellation, ask before printing. A dynamic QR depends on the short-link owner.
Methodology
A small, reproducible market check.
We used public first-party pricing pages and terms available on July 23, 2026. We recorded the lowest paid plan that includes dynamic QR codes, rather than enterprise quotes or temporary discounts.
USD prices are compared without currency conversion. MyQRCode appeared in euros during the UK check and is excluded from the USD chart. “Not stated” means the cited page did not answer the continuity question; it is not a claim that the code stops.
Plans change. The CSV includes the source URL and check date so another researcher can reproduce or correct the row.
